Mamas Circle - Newborns
Support in the early weeks and months with a newborn is essential. Mamas Circles are open, supportive communities where we talk about changing identities, relationships, and how to get through the day (and night) with little ones. A place to be in community with other women and know you're not in this alone.
Now, we're faced with a global pandemic, social distancing, and uncertainty around a new virus and the impact it will have on our families and communities. But we need each other now more than ever. So to continue community building amidst this challenge we will be hosting a virtual Mamas Circle until we can meet in-person again.
We'll meet weekly via video chat to help get your questions answered, provide space to offer tips to others, and create lasting friendships for you and your little one. The connection continues on our online community throughout the week. |
Mamas Circle Newborns is designed for moms and their newborn to pre-crawling babies (most babies are 0-4 months old). If you have an older baby or toddler please join a Motherhood Circle.
Please visit Mama Love Collective to register for Mamas Circle.

No topic is sacred within the confines of Mamas Circle. This is a circle of intimacy, support, humor and honesty. And I have relied on these other new mothers to help me see things in the right light, to find answers to things like an incessant diaper rash, and to keep moving forward through the haze of the first few months. I’m happy just to be in the same room with these women, their babies and our fellow mom and guide, Elizabeth.

It was a wonderful experience; thank you for facilitating Elizabeth! Your depth of knowledge and pragmatic philosophy were super helpful for me too. Even as a second time mom, I have some of the same challenges where I could use a new perspective, but also many new ones to navigate and sort out.

My daughter just turned one and I am still in touch with several moms and babies from Mamas Circle. I liked it so well that I did a second session of it, and it was a super helpful way to commiserate with and learn from other women, make friends, and become confident in my own parenting, such that I could give advice to other new moms. It was also an excellent way to get out of the house in the early weeks.

I always wanted to join a group after I had baby so that I could meet other moms going through the same thing. My sister always told me to have a supportive network because you can't do it alone. I love Mamas Circle! It is just what I was looking for: a safe, kind, and supportive group to get me through the first couple of months of being a new mom. I look forward to seeing Elizabeth and all the moms and babies every week!

I love Mamas Circle. It allowed me to stay in touch with my wonderful friends from prenatal yoga, meet their new babies, share birth stories, and see them become moms at the same time as me. I felt safe and comfortable sharing the joy and the craziness of being a mother. So many doubts, so many questions... Mamas Circle is the place to find answers and feel better about ourselves.
